Volunteer Opportunities
One of the greatest gifts you can give is your time.
Your interest and support are invaluable to our organization and create great opportunities for growth and sustainability in our communities. Volunteers truly help push our mission forward and contribute greatly to our progress. Volunteers not only get to help but they also are partaking in educational experiences that they can carry on with them throughout life. If you choose to volunteer with us, please feel free to let us know your specific interests or anything you hope to gain from the experience!
Our open hours for Spring 2022 will be:
Mondays from 9 am-1 pm
Wednesdays from 9 am-1 pm
Saturdays from 9 am-1 pm
Please let us know if you plan to come during these times, and if you are interested in volunteering at another time or day feel free to reach out and we can coordinate. Thank you :)
Typical tasks include (but are not limited to):
Seeding/Weeding/Mulching
Soil and compost building
Constructing growing platforms such as raised beds, aquaponics systems, etc.
Neighborhood cleanups
Organizational tasks
Offering public education during events
Set up/breakdown of events
Training and manicuring plants
Office work - outreach/research

Give & Get Program
Giving opens the way for receiving.
First and foremost, we appreciate when one shares their time in building and maintaining the farm. Whether you have financial resources or not, you have the option to exchange vegetables and plants for your help. Details below:
Typical tasks include (but are not limited to):
Seeding
Soil and compost building
Constructing growing platforms such as raised beds, aquaponics systems, etc.
Training and manicuring plants
Each hour amounts to a $10 credit that can be applied to products and produce available at the moment.*
Spots are limited.
